Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit KH?
UAE ordinary passport holders need a visa for Cambodia. The simplest route is the official Cambodia e-Visa (Type T tourist), applied for online before travel. Visa on arrival is also available at major airports and land crossings. The United Arab Emirates is not on Cambodia's visa-exemption list (which is mainly ASEAN states plus a few others), so Emirati travelers require a tourist visa. The recommended option is the official Cambodia e-Visa (Type T) obtained at evisa.gov.kh: it grants a single entry with a 30-day stay and is valid for 90 days from the date of issue, processed in about 3 business days. The government fee is US$30 plus a US$6 processing charge (US$36 total). A visa on arrival (US$30 for tourism) is available at international airports and many land borders for those who prefer not to apply online, though pre-arranging the e-Visa avoids airport queues. Separately, since January 2025 all air arrivals must submit the free Cambodia e-Arrival (CeA) card within 7 days before arrival; this is a digital declaration, not a visa. Cambodia is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Passports must be valid at least 6 months with one blank page.
