United Arab Emirates to Israel visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders do not need a traditional visa for short Israel visits, but they must obtain ETA-IL before travel. The official fee is ILS 25, decisions are expected within 72 hours, and short visits can be up to 90 days. UAE normal/ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for short visits to Israel but must obtain ETA-IL before departure. Israel MFA's ETA-IL notice, last updated 07/04/2025, says that from 1 January 2025 nationals of visa-exempt countries must have approved ETA-IL before their flight, the official site URL ends in gov.il, the fee is 25 Israeli shekels, and a response is expected within 72 hours. Israel's Ministry of Tourism page, last updated 08.12.2025, says all visa-exempt travelers need ETA before arrival and that ETA travelers need a passport valid for 3 months beyond arrival; UAE MoFA separately advises UAE travelers to use a passport with at least 6 months' validity. ETA-IL is generally valid for 2 years or until passport expiry, and permits visits up to 90 days. It covers tourism/visits, business meetings, medical/treatment visits, and short-term non-academic study up to 90 days; academic study, work, residence, or longer stays require the relevant Israeli visa or permission.
