Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit Hong Kong?
UAE ordinary passport holders can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 30 days for tourism. No visa or pre-arrival authorization is required. Holders of ordinary United Arab Emirates passports do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong for tourism or short visits. The Hong Kong Immigration Department grants UAE nationals visa-free stays of up to 30 days. Simply arrive with a passport, an onward or return ticket, and proof of adequate funds. There is no application form, no fee, and no eVisa or ETA system for short visits. Immigration officers make the final entry decision at the border, and visitors may not work or run a business during a visa-free stay. For stays beyond 30 days or for purposes such as work, study, or training, a visa or entry permit must be obtained in advance from the Immigration Department.
