🇦🇪United Arab Emirates🇫🇮FinlandAE-FI United Arab Emirates to Finland visa requirements
UAE ordinary passport holders can visit Finland visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. No visa or ETIAS is required as of 2026-06-19 because ETIAS is not yet in operation. Finland is part of the Schengen Area, and the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs lists United Arab Emirates travel documents as visa-free for the Schengen Area and Finland, valid until further notice. Holders of an ordinary UAE passport do not need a visa for short tourist or business visits to Finland and may stay up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period across all Schengen countries combined. At the border, travellers must still satisfy Finnish/Schengen entry checks with a passport valid at least 90 days beyond the planned Schengen departure and issued within the last 10 years, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation, and sufficient funds; Finland's published short-stay financial requirement is EUR 50 per day. Travel/medical insurance is strongly recommended. The visa exemption covers tourism and short business visits; it does not allow residence or most work, and study or seasonal work may require the appropriate residence permit or certificate depending on duration and activity. The Entry/Exit System (EES) has been fully operational since 10 April 2026 and records non-EU short-stay travellers' passport, biometric and entry/exit data at Schengen external borders instead of manual passport stamps. ETIAS is not in operation as of 2026-06-19 and no application is required now. It is expected to start in the last quarter of 2026; once applicable, most adult visa-exempt travellers will pay EUR 20 for an online travel authorisation valid up to 3 years or until passport expiry, with fee exemptions for applicants under 18 or over 70.
