United Arab Emirates to Algeria visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders generally need an Algerian consular visa before travel. Algeria has no general eVisa or general airport visa on arrival for independent UAE tourists; the only VOA-style exception is for approved-agency tourism to designated southern provinces. UAE ordinary passport holders are not visa-exempt for Algeria. UAE MoFA lists Algeria as Visa Required, and Algerian foreign-ministry guidance directs visa-required travelers to apply through Algerian diplomatic or consular posts before travel. There is no general Algerian eVisa for UAE ordinary passports and no general visa on arrival for independent arrivals at Algiers or other main ports. Algeria does, however, maintain a limited facilitation route for foreign tourists traveling to designated southern provinces through approved Algerian travel agencies; those travelers can receive a regularization visa on arrival for up to 30 days when the agency arranges the authorization in advance. For ordinary tourism outside that approved-agency southern route, use the consular sticker visa route through the Embassy of Algeria in Abu Dhabi or the competent Algerian mission. Fees, payment method, validity, number of entries and processing time are mission-specific; official examples describe visa validity of 90 days, 180 days, one year or two years, with stays generally limited to 90 days per entry, and some missions state processing can take up to 21 business days.
