United Arab Emirates to Dominican Republic visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders do not need a consular visa for Dominican Republic tourism. They may enter with the tourist card for up to 30 days, plus the free online eTicket for commercial flights. UAE ordinary passport holders are listed by Dominican consular guidance among nationals who may enter the Dominican Republic with only a tourist card for tourism. The tourist card is not a visa, costs US$10, is valid for a single entry, and authorizes a maximum stay of 30 days; for air arrivals, it has been included in airline tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic since 25 April 2018. Land or sea arrivals can obtain the tourist card at DGII points where available. The official tourism board lists the standard tourist entry requirements as a passport with at least six months' validity, entry and return ticket, a permanent address in the Dominican Republic, and proof of sufficient economic solvency. The temporary passport-validity relaxation through 31 December 2026 applies to listed nationalities such as EU, UK, Canada, United States, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador, not UAE. The free eTicket is mandatory for commercial-flight passengers entering or leaving; there is no fixed pre-travel filing window, and it can be completed as soon as flight information is available, but it must be completed before arriving at the airline counter. Passengers on private flights, non-commercial vessels, ferries, cruise ships and similar routes use the physical forms instead of the eTicket. Business, study, work and other non-tourism purposes require the appropriate Dominican visa even if the nationality is tourist-card eligible.
