United Arab Emirates to The Bahamas visa requirements

No visa needed. UAE ordinary passport holders can enter the Bahamas visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days under a bilateral visa-waiver agreement. United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit the Bahamas for tourism or short visits. Under a bilateral visa-abolition agreement signed on 27 November 2016 and effective 27 December 2016, citizens of the UAE may enter the Bahamas without a visa and remain for up to 90 days for tourism purposes. This is confirmed by the Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-arrival authorization is required for this short stay. The Bahamas is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Travelers must still satisfy standard entry conditions at the border: a passport valid for at least six months with at least two blank pages, a confirmed return or onward ticket, proof of sufficient funds, and a completed Bahamas Immigration Disembarkation/Embarkation Card. Use the Digital Arrival Card only if your airline or port is participating in the pilot or directs you to submit it. Admission remains at the discretion of Bahamas Border Management officers, who may deny entry despite the visa waiver. Those wishing to stay beyond the granted period must apply for a visitor extension before expiry; overstaying is an offense.
