Do UAE passport holders need a visa to visit Brazil?
No visa needed. UAE ordinary passport holders enter Brazil visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Brazil for tourism or short stays. Under the reciprocal UAE–Brazil visa-waiver agreement in force since 2 June 2018, Emirati citizens may enter visa-free for up to 90 days per entry, with combined stays not exceeding 180 days within any 12-month period. There is no eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival requirement for this nationality — Brazil's eVisa channel (VFS Global) applies only to U.S., Canadian and Australian citizens, not the UAE. Travelers simply need a passport valid for the duration of stay (carriers commonly enforce six months), proof of onward/return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. Stays can be extended once at the Federal Police up to a 180-day annual cap.
