United Arab Emirates to Bangladesh visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders can get a Visa on Arrival in Bangladesh for tourism, valid for up to 30 days (single entry), for a fee of about USD 50, issued at Bangladeshi ports of entry subject to immigration approval. United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders are eligible for a Bangladesh Visa on Arrival (VoA) for tourism. The official Consulate General of Bangladesh in Dubai confirms that "UAE nationals are eligible to obtain Visa on Arrival at the airport to enter Bangladesh," and Bangladesh mission guidance describes on-arrival issuance at international airports and land ports when immigration authorities are satisfied. The VoA is single-entry, valid for a maximum stay of 30 days, and any extension must be requested from the Department of Immigration and Passports (DIP) under existing visa policy rather than assumed as a fixed extra 30 days. The fee is approximately USD 50, payable in cash in US dollars (or euros) at the immigration counter. Common air arrivals include Hazrat Shahjalal International (Dhaka), Shah Amanat International (Chittagong/Chattogram) and Osmani International (Sylhet). Travelers should carry a passport valid at least 6 months with at least two blank pages, a confirmed return/onward ticket, a hotel booking or invitation letter, and proof of sufficient funds (minimum about USD 500 in cash or a credit card). Issuance is ultimately at the discretion of the immigration officer, so well-organized supporting documents are essential. Those who prefer certainty can instead apply for a tourist visa in advance at the Bangladesh Consulate in Dubai. No Schengen rules apply, as Bangladesh is in South Asia and is not part of the Schengen area.
