United Arab Emirates to Armenia visa requirements

UAE ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Armenia. The UAE is on Armenia's official unilateral visa-exemption list, allowing visa-free stays of up to 180 days per year. Just present a valid passport on arrival. United Arab Emirates ordinary passport holders enjoy full visa-free access to Armenia for tourism and short visits. The UAE appears as entry No. 43 on the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) list of countries whose citizens of all passport types are unilaterally exempt from obtaining a visa. Exempt nationals may stay in Armenia for up to 180 days within any one-year period. No e-visa, visa-on-arrival, or pre-registration is required for an Emirati national. Armenia is NOT part of the Schengen area and is not subject to the EU's 90/180 short-stay rule or ETIAS, so those EU systems do not apply here. Travelers need a passport valid for entry and for the trip; because Armenia's UAE nationality-based exemption page does not impose a specific 3-6 month remaining-validity rule, that buffer is best treated as travel best practice rather than a hard entry requirement. Standard supporting documents such as a return ticket and proof of accommodation may be requested at the border. Note that the separate temporary residence-permit-based exemption running from January 1 to July 1, 2026 is a distinct, time-limited measure and is not the basis for an Emirati citizen's entry — the nationality-based exemption applies regardless.
