Andorra to South Africa visa requirements

No visa required. Andorran ordinary passport holders can enter South Africa visa-free for tourism or business for up to 90 days per visit. A visitor's visa-exemption stamp is granted free on arrival, provided you hold a passport valid at least 30 days beyond your intended departure with at least two blank pages, a return/onward ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. South Africa's ETA/online short-term visitor visa route is for eligible visa-required countries, not an optional step for visa-exempt Andorrans. As of mid-2026, the Principality of Andorra appears on South Africa's official visa-exemption list for ordinary, official, and diplomatic passport holders, with a maximum visa-free stay of 90 days. This is confirmed by the DHA/DIRCO exemption tables, including the DIRCO Paris PDF issued on 18 June 2024. On arrival at a South African port of entry, an Andorran ordinary passport holder is issued a visitor's visa exemption (a port-of-entry stamp) at no cost. Entry remains at the discretion of the immigration officer and standard documentary conditions apply: passport valid for at least 30 days after intended departure, two consecutive blank visa pages, evidence of return or onward travel, and proof of adequate funds for the stay. South Africa is phasing in an Electronic Travel Authorisation / online short-term visitor visa route for eligible visa-required countries; the official ETA portal describes it as a digital authorisation for prospective travelers from eligible visa-required countries, and the South African Embassy in Paris currently names India, Indonesia, Mexico, and China as nationalities required to apply online. Andorra is visa-exempt, so this ETA route is not a requirement or optional fast-track for ordinary Andorran tourists. South Africa is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. To stay beyond 90 days or for purposes other than tourism/business, a visa or relevant permit must be obtained in advance.

ETA scope corrected for visa-exempt Andorrans
Rechecked the DIRCO visa-exemption PDF: Andorra remains exempt for up to 90 days. Rechecked South Africa's ETA materials: the official ETA portal describes the ETA as for eligible visa-required countries, the government rollout announcement focused on China, India, Mexico and Indonesia, and the South African Embassy in Paris currently lists India, Indonesia, Mexico and China for online short-term visitor visa applications. Removed the optional ETA path for Andorran travelers because Andorra is visa-exempt and ETA is not an optional fast-track for this route.

AD to South Africa route verified
