Andorra to Uruguay visa requirements

Andorran (AD) ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in Uruguay. They may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days, extendable once for a further 90 days inside the country. Uruguay's official Ministry of Interior visa-admission table lists Andorra ordinary-passport holders as not needing a visa. An Andorran citizen traveling for tourism or a short visit can enter Uruguay without any prior visa and stay for up to 90 days per entry. This stay can be extended once for an additional 90 days by applying at the Dirección Nacional de Migración (DNM) before the initial period expires. No eVisa, visa-on-arrival fee, or electronic travel authorization is required for short tourist stays. At the border, travelers should carry a passport valid for the duration of stay (six months' validity is widely recommended), evidence of onward or return travel, proof of accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds. Entry is granted at the discretion of the immigration officer; the visa exemption covers tourism and short business/visit purposes, not paid work or long-term residence. Uruguay's official table also notes that when the travel purpose is not tourism, is for work, or involves intent to remain longer than the established 90-day period, the appropriate prior procedure is required. There is no Schengen consideration here because Uruguay is a South American country and not part of the Schengen area; ETIAS does not apply to entering Uruguay.
