🇦🇩Andorra🇺🇸United StatesAD-US Andorra to United States visa requirements
Andorran ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourism in the United States. Andorra is a Visa Waiver Program (VWP) country, so travelers instead obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) online before departure and may stay up to 90 days. Andorra has participated in the U.S. Visa Waiver Program (VWP) since 1991. As of mid-2026, an Andorran citizen holding an ordinary biometric (e-)passport traveling to the United States for tourism or business does not need a traditional B-2 visa. Instead they must obtain an approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) before boarding a U.S.-bound air or sea carrier. ESTA is an electronic travel authorization (ETA-type) administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). It permits stays of up to 90 days per visit and is generally valid for two years (or until the passport expires, whichever comes first), allowing multiple entries. The approved ESTA total for FY 2026 is USD 40.27: every application is charged the USD 10.27 cost-recovery/application portion, and approved applications are charged an additional USD 30. An ESTA does not guarantee admission: the final decision rests with a CBP officer at the port of entry. Travelers intending to stay longer than 90 days, study for credit, work, or immigrate must obtain the appropriate visa instead; the VWP only allows limited study such as a short recreational course not for credit. The United States is not part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply here; the U.S. operates its own separate 90-day-per-entry VWP rule.
