Andorra to Ukraine visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short visits to Ukraine. Ukraine MFA lists Andorra as visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. This is an entry-rule result only: Ukraine remains under martial-law and conflict conditions, civilian airspace is closed, and entry is normally overland via neighboring countries. Andorran ordinary passport holders can enter Ukraine without a visa for short tourist, private, business or transit visits of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. The current Ukraine MFA entry-regime table lists Andorra as visa-free for 90/180, and Presidential Decree No. 1663/2005 established visa-free entry and transit for citizens of Andorra from 1 January 2006 for stays not exceeding 90 days. Ukraine is not in the Schengen Area or the EU, so Schengen/ETIAS rules do not grant or limit entry to Ukraine. No Ukrainian eVisa, visa on arrival, or active ETA/e-notification application is required for this Andorran short-stay route as of 20 June 2026; the NSDC has discussed a future e-notification system for visa-free nationals, but the checked official entry regime still lists visa-free entry without such an application. At the border, travelers should use an ordinary passport valid for the whole stay, carry proof of valid medical insurance covering Ukraine, show sufficient funds and documents confirming the trip purpose, and be ready to provide accommodation and onward/return plans. Ukrainian law sets a financial-support formula based on 20 times the monthly subsistence minimum, prorated for the planned stay plus return needs; in practice, carry clear evidence rather than relying on a fixed USD-per-day shortcut. Current logistics and safety are abnormal: EASA cites Ukraine NOTAMs closing the main Ukrainian FIRs to civil aviation, foreign governments continue to warn against travel, and legal entry is normally by land or rail via countries such as Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania or Moldova. The visa-free verdict does not mean travel is advisable.

Common refusal reasons

by frequency
/01
Andorra is on Ukraine's visa-free list
Ukraine MFA lists Andorra as visa-free for up to 90 days within 180 days, and the 2005 presidential decree created Andorra's visa-free entry and transit route.
High
/02
90/180 is Ukraine's own rule
Ukraine is outside Schengen and the EU, so Schengen day-counting and ETIAS are not the source of this allowance.
High
/03
Border evidence still matters
Visa-free travelers can still be asked for insurance, sufficient funds, purpose-of-stay documents and onward plans.
Medium
/04
Civil airspace remains closed
EASA cites Ukrainian NOTAMs closing the affected Ukrainian FIRs to civil aviation, so travel planning must assume overland entry.
High
/05
Future e-notification is only a proposal in checked sources
NSDC discussed an e-notification system for visa-free travelers, but the current MFA entry-regime evidence still shows visa-free entry without an active Andorra application requirement.
