Andorra to Chad visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders need a visa for Chad and must obtain a Chad eVisa online before travel. Since 11 May 2026, the eVisa via the official portal (evisa.td) is the exclusive channel for new applications; visas issued outside it became invalid for entry after 21 May 2026. Chad does not grant visa-free entry to Andorra (AD). Andorra is not among the roughly 35 nationalities exempt from Chadian visas, so an Andorran ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism must hold a valid visa before arrival. Chad launched its electronic visa system on 11 December 2024, and from 11 May 2026 the eVisa became the mandatory, exclusive route for all new visa applications (all categories except diplomatic and courtesy visas) through the official government platform at evisa.td. After 21 May 2026, any visa issued outside that platform no longer permits entry. The standard tourist eVisa is typically issued as a single-entry permit valid for 30 days with a maximum stay of 30 days; multiple-entry options exist depending on issuance conditions. The fee is commonly cited at about USD 107 (third-party aggregators may add service charges), and processing usually takes around 10 days. Applicants need a passport valid at least 6 months, a white-background photo, return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation, and a yellow fever vaccination card for arrival checks. Note: all arrivals must register with police within 72 hours of entry. Travelers should apply only through evisa.td to avoid look-alike third-party sites that charge markups. Andorra has no Chadian embassy; consular matters are generally handled via Chad's missions in Europe (e.g., Paris or Brussels), but the online eVisa is now the primary path.
