Andorra to Sweden visa requirements
No visa needed. Andorran ordinary passport holders can visit Sweden and the Schengen Area visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, and official Schengen guidance says nationals of Andorra are exempt from both ETIAS and EES registration. Sweden is a Schengen Area member state. The Swedish Migration Agency explains that a Schengen entry visa is for visits of up to 90 days in a 180-day period, and that travellers from countries whose citizens do not need an entry visa may still enter if they meet border requirements. The Government Offices of Sweden list countries whose nationals require visas for Sweden; Andorra is not on that visa-required list, and EUR-Lex Regulation (EU) 2018/1806 confirms the Schengen Annex II visa-exemption basis for Andorran nationals. For a short tourist, family, or business visit, an Andorran ordinary passport holder may stay in Sweden and the Schengen Area for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. Sweden requires visa-free visitors to have a passport valid for at least three months after leaving the Schengen Area, a round-trip ticket or return journey within 90 days, accommodation or invitation evidence, and enough funds; the Swedish Migration Agency uses SEK 450 per day as the funds benchmark. ETIAS is not yet operational and is expected in the last quarter of 2026, but official Schengen guidance says nationals of Andorra are not affected by ETIAS. The EES has been progressively implemented since 12 October 2025 and fully operational from 10 April 2026, but Andorran nationals are explicitly exempt from EES registration.
