Andorra to Nigeria visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders need a visa for Nigeria, and since 1 May 2025 the only short-visit channel is the online eVisa (the F5A Tourism Visa). Visa-on-arrival has been abolished, so you must apply and obtain approval before you travel. Andorra is not an ECOWAS member and has no visa-waiver agreement with Nigeria, so Andorran (AD) ordinary passport holders are not visa-exempt. Nigeria is not part of the Schengen area, so ETIAS and the 90/180 Schengen rule are irrelevant here. As of 1 May 2025, Nigeria phased out its old Visa-on-Arrival regime and migrated all eligible short-visit applicants to a fully electronic visa (eVisa) processed through the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) portal at evisa.immigration.gov.ng. For tourism, the correct category is the Short Visit Visa / Tourism Visa (F5A): a single-entry eVisa valid 90 days from issuance and permitting a stay of up to 30 days, non-extendable, for tourism only (no employment). Applications are submitted online and most decisions are returned by email within 24-48 hours (up to about 5 business days in busy periods); the approval must be printed and presented on arrival, where the visa is endorsed in the passport. Required evidence includes a passport valid at least 6 months, a passport photo, return ticket, hotel reservation or host address, and proof of sufficient funds (a 180-day bank statement). Nigeria also requires a valid Yellow Card/yellow fever vaccination certificate for travelers entering or leaving the country, and the NCDC health declaration is mandatory for international arrivals. Government fees vary by nationality; for European nationals the immigration component typically falls in the roughly US$80-160 range, with a small portal technology/processing charge added. Because the eVisa replaced visa-on-arrival, travelers must not assume they can obtain a visa at the airport. Always confirm the latest fee for AD nationals on the official NIS portal before paying.
