Andorra to New Caledonia visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for a short tourist visit to New Caledonia. You may stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period. New Caledonia is a French overseas territory (sui generis collectivity), not part of the Schengen Area, so ETIAS does not apply. New Caledonia is a French overseas collectivity in the South Pacific. It applies French/France-Visas entry rules but is OUTSIDE the Schengen Area and outside the EU customs/visa territory, so a Schengen visa does not cover it and the upcoming ETIAS is not required. Andorra appears on France's official short-stay visa-waiver list (Legifrance), so Andorran ordinary passport holders are visa-exempt for tourism and business for stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Note: although Andorra holds a bilateral agreement giving its nationals EU-equivalent rights inside metropolitan France, in the overseas territories Andorrans are treated under the standard third-country visa-exemption regime - which still results in visa-free entry, but capped at 90/180 rather than the unlimited stay EU citizens enjoy. To enter, you need a passport issued within the last 10 years, valid at least three months beyond your planned departure, with at least two blank pages, plus proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. New Caledonia Tourism says travel insurance is mandatory for travel to New Caledonia. Always confirm your specific case with the France-Visas Visa Wizard before booking, as airlines verify documents at check-in.
