Andorra to Malawi visa requirements

Andorran (AD) ordinary passport holders can get a visa on arrival in Malawi (Category Two country), or apply in advance for an eVisa at evisa.gov.mw. The single-entry tourist visa costs USD 50. As of mid-2026, an Andorran ordinary passport holder does NOT have visa-free access to Malawi. Following Malawi's major policy reversal (visa-waiver scheme revoked effective 2 January 2026 and a reciprocity-based classification confirmed by public notice dated 24 February 2026), countries are sorted into Category One (must obtain a visa or prior authorisation before departure) and Category Two (eligible for visa on arrival). Andorra is classified as a Category Two country, so Andorrans may obtain a visa on arrival at all designated ports of entry. The Department of Immigration nonetheless strongly recommends applying online in advance through the official eVisa portal (evisa.gov.mw) to speed up clearance. The standard single-entry tourist visa costs USD 50, is valid for 3 months from the date of issue, and normally permits a stay of up to 30 days (extendable in country). Multiple-entry options exist at USD 150 (6 months) and USD 250 (12 months). A passport valid at least 6 months with blank pages, proof of accommodation and onward/return travel are required. Because the policy is recent and reciprocity-driven, travelers should re-verify status close to departure.
