🇦🇩Andorra🇲🇷MauritaniaAD-MR Andorra to Mauritania visa requirements
Andorran (AD) ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Mauritania for tourism. Since 5 January 2025, Mauritania requires a mandatory electronic visa obtained online before boarding; Andorra is not on the visa-exempt list. Andorra holds an ordinary passport that is not among the small group of nationalities granted visa-free entry to Mauritania. Mauritania is in West/Northwest Africa and has no connection to the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Since 5 January 2025 Mauritania operates a mandatory electronic visa (eVisa) administered by the National Agency for the Population Register and Secure Titles (ANRPTS) via the official portal anrpts.gov.mr. Visa-required travelers, including Andorrans, must complete the eVisa form online before travel; GOV.UK warns that visa on arrival is no longer possible. The official ANRPTS application currently offers 30, 90, and 360 day visa-duration choices, not 30/60/90 days. Travelers pay visa fees on arrival after the online application is accepted/checked, so do not describe the route as an online card-payment flow. Apply well in advance, print or save the eVisa/approval evidence, and use only the official ANRPTS portal to avoid third-party markups.
