Andorra to Moldova visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Moldova. They may enter visa-free for tourism and short stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Citizens of the Principality of Andorra holding any type of passport, including ordinary passports, are exempt from visa requirements to enter the Republic of Moldova. The exemption permits a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, counted from the date of first entry, and applies for tourism, business and short visits. This visa-free arrangement has been in force since 1 June 2010 and remains valid as of mid-2026, confirmed directly on the official Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.gov.md) visa-exemption list. Moldova is NOT a member of the Schengen Area and is not part of the EU, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Moldova; Moldova operates its own independent 90/180 short-stay rule. No advance permit, eVisa or visa-on-arrival is required. Travelers should hold a passport valid for the duration of stay and may be asked at the border to show proof of onward/return travel, accommodation and sufficient funds. Stays beyond 90 days, or entry for work, study or residence, require a long-stay (Type D) visa and/or a residence permit obtained through the Moldovan Bureau for Migration and Asylum.
