Andorra to Iraq visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders need an eVisa to visit Iraq for tourism. Apply online through Iraq's official electronic visa system before departure; visa-on-arrival was suspended for most nationalities on 1 March 2025. A citizen of Andorra holding an ordinary passport requires a visa to enter the Republic of Iraq for tourism. Iraq's official e-Visa portal is operated by the Ministry of Interior, and an Iraqi embassy notice says travelers who wish to enter the Republic of Iraq must apply in advance for the electronic visa starting from 1 March 2025. The U.S. State Department likewise advises travelers to obtain an e-Visa through the Iraq e-Visa Portal before arrival. The federal Iraq eVisa is the route for travel to Baghdad, Basra, the south and central provinces, and it is also the option required if entering through the Kurdistan Region and continuing to other areas of Iraq. The Kurdistan Regional Government separately operates its own eVisa/entry-permit system and may also allow visa on arrival at Kurdistan entry points, but those options are for the Kurdistan Region and should not be treated as permission to travel in federal Iraq. Iraq is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. Conditions in Iraq vary by region and travelers should check security advisories before booking.

Corrected Iraq eVisa sources, fees, and Kurdistan scope
Replaced secondary sources with official Iraq, KRG, and U.S. government guidance, removed unsupported fixed federal eVisa/insurance fee claims, clarified that KRG eVisa/VOA options are Kurdistan-region specific and not a substitute for the federal Iraq eVisa when traveling elsewhere, and corrected the related United States note because Andorra is a Visa Waiver Program country.
/09 — The questions

Frequently asked

Can Andorran citizens get a visa on arrival in Iraq?
For federal Iraq, use the official Iraq eVisa before arrival. KRG guidance may allow eVisa or visa on arrival at Kurdistan Region entry points, but that is region-specific and not a substitute for federal Iraq permission.
