Andorra to Hungary visa requirements

Andorran ordinary passport holders can travel to Hungary visa-free for tourism and short visits, staying up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. No visa or ETIAS is required. Hungary is a member of the Schengen Area, and Andorra is listed in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806, so Andorran ordinary passport holders are visa-free for short stays in the Schengen zone. For ordinary tourism, business meetings, family visits, or transit, the standard stay is up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period, counted cumulatively across all Schengen states rather than Hungary alone. Andorra is also exempt from ETIAS under official EU guidance, so Andorran travelers will not need to apply or pay for ETIAS when that system becomes mandatory for most other visa-exempt nationals. EU EES guidance says nationals of Andorra, Monaco and San Marino and Vatican/Holy See passport holders are outside EES scope, so Andorran travelers should not be told to complete EES biometric registration. Hungary has an additional bilateral-arrangement rule: Hungarian OIF guidance lists Andorra for an extra 90-day Hungary-only stay after the normal Schengen visa-free stay or after expiry of an EU/Schengen residence permit, subject to strict conditions. During that extra period the traveler must stay only in Hungary, must not travel to other Schengen states, and must leave the Schengen Area directly from Hungary.
